I believe that you are the one who knows your own experience best. Rather than the therapist having all the answers, we work collaboratively, guided by your own internal wisdom and what feels true for you. My role is to listen with care and compassion, and to support you to explore what is asking for your attention, with curiosity and without judgement.
Our sessions might be a space to understand yourself more deeply, explore emotions or patterns that feel difficult, reconnect with your needs, or find a greater sense of clarity about a way forward. Sometimes we may work with what is happening in the body, noticing sensations, breath and nervous system responses. Working somatically, with the body can offer a doorway for connecting with and processing our experiences. At other times, we might explore beliefs or stories you hold about yourself and your life, while we find ways to make space for what is present for you.
My areas of experience include supporting people navigating parenting and family life, childhood experiences, complex emotions, life transitions, purpose and meaning, and varied forms of grief. I offer my support with a trauma-informed practice.
Throughout our work, I bring an approach that offers choice and personal autonomy, respecting your own pace and boundaries.
My intention is to create a warm, supportive relationship where you can listen more deeply to yourself and find your own way forward. I bring compassion, care and insight to our work.
Every session is different and is guided by you, what you are looking for and what feels supportive in the moment. I offer a deeply compassionate space for what’s difficult, whether these are current or past experiences that hold pain or trauma. Depending on your needs, sessions may include:
